Each participant must be dressed according to the weather (Lake Memphremagog is a wind corridor and it can be very cold).

The bikes suggested for the course are Fatbikes with 3.5 to 5 inch wide tires. 27.5+ and 29+ tires with a diameter of 2.8 to 3.4 inches will also be accepted (the LTHM does not rent. Each participant is responsible for their bike).

Studded tires are allowed for use on Fatbikes.

The checkpoints will be there to secure the course and will also serve as extraction points if necessary.

For the participants of the Trail des neiges the use of crampons and snowshoes are allowed.

Volunteers will be on the course to assist you during the race. Do not hesitate to contact one of them for any requests.

The Traversée Hivernale Memphrémagog is an adventure race.

Your safety is important to us, if you feel uncomfortable, have any problems or concerns, please mention it immediately to a member of our team.

We suggest a survival kit including, at a minimum, a survival blanket and hotshots. Helmets are mandatory.
